Service Description
A space for children to explore feelings through art, music, and movement with a therapist to boost creativity, confidence, and emotional well-being. About our guest artist: At Mind in Motion Therapy & Wellness, I blend clinical mental health counseling with creativity, movement, and expressive arts to support children, teens, and families in a warm and compassionate environment. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University and have over a decade of experience working in schools, residential treatment programs, and community mental health settings. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and highly relational. I often incorporate movement, mindfulness, yoga, and expressive arts into sessions to help clients build emotional regulation skills, confidence, self-awareness, and healthy coping tools — especially for children and teens who may have difficulty expressing emotions with words alone.
