Creative Kids Summer Art Program Week 5

Service Description

Ages 6-11 (will accept 5 year olds if they have attended a school setting and/or Kindegarten) Week 5 Theme: American artists inspired by nature's palette of the outdoors Daily Schedule: 8:30 - 8:45 - Morning Open Studio (sketching, quiet art activities) 8:45 - 9:00 - Morning meeting, group socialization game, and introduction to daily theme based lessons and discuss prior day work 9:00 - 9:30 - First art rotation/activity 9:30 - 9:50 - Snack, socialization, and restroom time 10:00 - 10:30 - Second art rotation/activity 10:30 - 10:50 - Art-based group socialization game 11:00 - 11:30 - Third art rotation 11:30 - 12:00 - Arts/Crafts Open Studio (sketch book, reflection time) Friday 11:45 - 12:00 - Parents/Family/Friends come to the studio to see the young creative artists display of art work they created over the week. Art rotations are based around the weekly theme and incorporate use of all visual art mediums including canvas, water colors, acrylic paint, oil pastels, pottery , arts/ crafts, and other materials including wood, Legos and fabric. Children must come with two peanut free snacks and a water bottle for each day of camp. If we decide to walk up to the town common for snack or an art project, the instructor will notify the parents prior to that. All students must have an updated enrollment packet on file with Creative Corner. We must have a minimum of 5 participants to run. If it doesn't, you will be notified. Payment is due when you register and must be completed to hold your spot. Please pay by Venmo, cash, or check. There are no refunds. Enrollment forms must be turned in prior to the start date. Sign up 2 children for the same week and receive a sibling discount of $10 off total price.
