Creative Kids Summer Art Program Week 1

Service Description

Ages 6-11 (will accept 5 year olds if they have attended a school setting/and or kindegarten) Week 1's theme will be Nature. Daily Schedule: 8:30am - 8:45am - Morning Open Studio (sketching, quiet art activities) 8:45am- 9:00am - morning meeting, group socialization game and introduction to daily theme based lessons and discuss prior day work 9:00am-9:30am - first art rotation/activity 9:30-9:50am - snack and socialization restroom time 10:00- 10:30am - second art rotation / activity 10:30-10:50am - Group Art based Game Socialization 11:00 to 11:30am - Third Art Rotation 11:30-12noon - Arts/Crafts Open Studio (sketch book, reflection time) Rotations based around weekly theme and incorporate use of all visual art mediums including canvas, water colors, acrylic paint, oil pastels, pottery , arts/ crafts, and other materials including wood, legos and fabric. Friday 11:45am to 12 noon - Parents/Family/Friends come to the studio to see the young creative artists display of art work they created over the week. Children must come with a peanut free two snacks and bottle water for each day of camp. If we decide to walk up to the town common for snack or to do a landscape outdoor painting the instructor will notify the parents prior to that all students must have an updated enrollment packet on file with Creative Corner. Must have a minimum of 5 participants to run. If it doesn't, you will be notified. Payment is due when you register and must be completed to hold your spot. Please pay by Venmo or if you would prefer to pay by check/cash you can drop it off at the Studio Monday-Friday, 3-6pm. There are no refunds. Enrollment forms must be turned in prior to the start date. Sign up 2 children for the same week and receive a sibling discount of $10 off total price.
